Spencer Court Apartments Apartments participate in a program designed to maintain affordable rental apartment homes for age and income qualified senior residents. Spencer Court Apartments is located in downtown Renton, and was constructed in 1993.

• Located within blocks of the Renton Senior Center, post office, library, restaurants, medical clinics, public transportation, places of worship, Cedar River, beauty salons, theaters, physical fitness center, river walking path, and downtown shopping areas.
• Various activities are arranged for those who choose to participate including bingo, card games, and monthly potluck

Each member of the Applicant's household must be age 55 or older and at least one member of the Applicant's household must be age 61 or older by the end of the current year or disabled.

AND

Annual household income may not exceed the following amounts:
 

50 percent of area median gross income:
One-person household = $30,000
Two-person household = $34,250

28 apartments are available for the following income qualification as well ( to qualify to rent these apartments, the annual household income must not exceed the amount listed in one of the following categories) :

35 percent of area median gross income:

One-person household = $21,000
Two-person household = $23,975

Income verification is required of all members of Applicant’s household with respect to the aggregate anticipated household income over the ensuing 12-month period. Annual re-certification of income is also required, but has no impact on future rents or eligibility.
